Located on the west of Luštica Peninsula, the side of Luštica that belongs to Herceg-Novi Municipality is most attractive and most attractive beach, is Žanjic.
Every yacht entering or leaving the Kotor Bay must pass Žanjic . In the past it was private beach of Josip Broz Tito, former President of Yugoslavia, therefore is also called President Beach. It`s encircled by two verdant headlands, giving it sheltered clear waters and a gently sloping shoreline. What is a special about this beach is the completely natural ambience. Immediately behind the beach there are olive groves that offer extraordinary shade and enjoyment even during the hottest part of the day. Beach is pebble and long 300 m and 15 m wide.

Near beach is the dock where you can moore your yacht.The dock forms a piers length of 40m and built-in shore length of 52m. Depth on pier are from 4m on head of the pier to 1.7m at the root of the pier. Yachts that have 2m of draft in length of 36m can moore and tie down ethier side of the dock, also there is a slipway for smaller boats at berth. From the dock you are less then a nautical mile away from Mirište and Arza Bay but what will amaze you is small stone island (only 700 m2) which is located near so over time it remained in the people with name Mali(small)Žanjic.

One of them is Mali Žanjic,as there is a fortified monastery complex with the Church Sv. Vavedenje . In historical sources, it is mentioned for the first time in 1508 as St. Maria “de Sagnic”. The oldest part of the is a single-nave church, which is believed to date from the 15th century.
It is surrounded by defensive walls and offers the most beautiful view of the Bay of Kotor. The monastery was permanently inhabited until the 18th century, and then left to the ravages of time. It was renovated in 2002 and is now inhabited by a monk.
